  1. My recommendation is to check your PH and Nitrate...I oso have this problem...solved by increasing PH (using PH buffer 8.3) and trying hard to reduce Nitrate...

Oso not forgetting to reduce your light timing.....i changed from 6hrs to 3hrs.

    Lastly, add some snails....

  2. Hi,

I have been hearing people talking of the above. May I know whether you guys have experience setting up the above. If possible, can show some picture.

    I have some question:

    1. What is the purpose of the setup?

    2. Can this help to reduce Nitrate/Nitrite?

    3. How to grow Copepods?

    4. If Copepods is suck by the pump returning to the main tank, will the pump kill the little creature?

    Your advice/recommendation is greatly appreciated.

    :thanks:

  3. I have heard of Cured Live Rocks, what does that mean?

    1. It has Red and Purple color?

    2. It is free from Crabs and Worms?

    3. It is free from Alage?

    4. All the above?

    5. Or is it just s rock with Red, Purple color and include Crabs and Worms?

Please give some clues to this phase....Cured Live Rocks

    :thanks:

If I have used a high Salnity (I mean very high, above the reflectometer can measured) to chase the crabs and worms out, does it killed my live rocks? Will my LR revive?

  4. Can anyone advice me why my rock used to be green and red with grass growing is becoming white in color..

just to add, b4 all this happened, i soaked the rock on a high salt water to kill crabs and worms...now the rock become this n no grass is growing.

    Can my rock recover?

Is there ways to save the rock and return its original coraline color?

  5. I have recently brought a Sea Hare, after 3 days, there was something came out from it, see pic. It passed away yesterday(after 2 days having the things in the pic) morning.

I read somewhere that Sea Hare will spawn and died after that...is it true?

Is the pic the Sea Hare eggs?

If yes, should I just leave it there adn let nature take it course or what else can I do?

Anyone has the expertise on this.
