I believe the 2011 is suitable for 2ft tanks (though on paper it's stated otherwise). For 3ft you may want to consider the bigger models. I don't have a sump and therefore cannot 'afford' the space to setup the Weipro (even in haging mode). Ok - let me state the base price: 1. Sander Skimmer : $10 2. Weipro 2011 (without pump) : $45
