  3. Hi reefers,

I'd be de-commissioning my tank as I'd be moving out to a new place. I'm hoping that someone'd would take the full set. If no such takers, than in the coming weeks i'd be breaking up the sales to sell off life stock, life rocks, lights, chiller and then finally the filters and pumps.

Feel free to text or call me at 9781 3303 for more information

    Some highlights for my setup:

    • Compact IOS design. everything is kept neatly within the tank
    • 2X2X1 shallow tank. Great for experimental style of reefing as you can easily reach all parts of the tank and re-arrange as you please
    • Shallow tank great for growing corals, can do syringe feeding easily
    • Effective swimming area is 1.5x2 making quite a nice area for smaller fish
    • The system is well thought out and has a potential to reach very stable mature state. Currently I've not done water change for over 6 months. everything still good

  5. Yup this works. Personally what I did was get some coralline scrapings(don't need rock), put them in a small container, add a few droplets of water & mash the whole thing up until I got a purple paste. Then just pour into tank & let the flow do the rest.

Starting to to see spots of coralline on my glass & base rock 3 wks after that

I personally tried this and it works too. To add on, try to find a good healthy sample of coraline to help seed your tank. meaning to say, if your friend has coraline but it don't really grow much, don't use that sample. Find someone whose coraline sample is growing strong or forming the blade structures.

Also keep MG above 1400. it helps.

  6. Hi guys, long time to see, long time no post. Got the following to sell

    Eheim Professional 3 350 Canister (Almost New) - $280

    1050L/H

    16 Watt

    Media all included

    Accessories included

    Original packaging included

2 year warranty (if i'm not wrong)

    Made in Germany

This is a very popular and well regarded filter.

    Read more about it here

    https://www.eheim.com/en_GB/products/technology/external-filters/professionel-350

Purchased on 22/7 (less than a month ago) as shown in my receipt. Selling so quickly due to change of plans. The pro3 is too powerful for me and I've sized down to a small Ecco instead. Briefly ran it for a week for leak testing and realised it was too strong. I've washed it out and dried it so its as good as new.

Collect in the west. If you stay around west coast, Clementi, Buona Vista, I don't mind delivering.

Any questions, please text 9781 3303

  7. Wow! it baffles me how you stack those rocks! anyway nice colourful fishes!

hey with regards to the ich, i think its a standard when starting any FOWLR tank. focus on improving fish health and immunity through regular feeding. Possibly with garlic marinated food. In due time, once water condition stabilizes, the ich will go away.
