Seahorses aren't exactly for beginners to begin with. And they need special care and diet and definitely shouldn't be house with fishes that are bigger and more aggressive and definitely not faster den them as seahorses are specialized feeders. They feed very slowly and are unable to compete with bigger and faster fishes. I suggest you leave them alone for now and read up more on them before diving head on to something totally unknown to you.
As we speak now, their numbers in the wild are already on the decline due to over poaching and habitat destructions. And captive breed seahorses are not that commonly available (even if farms claims to bring in captive breed seahorses, they most probably might be just pen raise in fish farms).
Do a search (e.g. Google) or go to www.seahorse.org and read up more on the articles there before purchasing your very first seahorse (sh).
