fellow reefers, Need some advice on lightings. my tank is 42x30x24 inches and I'm using a 250w MH at 14k. livestock I'm looking at are fish and some LPS. Is my 250w MH lighting overkill for my setup? if I would like to convert to LEDs, what should I go for? totally clueless about LEDs.

fish and maybe some LPS for now. tried SPS long time ago but they don't do well in my tank except for monti.

don't know leh. spent half a day cleaning my whole tank. neglected it for some time thus the algae bloom. found out that my 5 month old boy like to see the fishes, so had to cleanup to give him a better view... hahaha

actually they do have LFS that sell marine LS there but mostly "underground". need regular to bring u in. my malacca friend brought me there once, i even saw tiny sea turtle in one of the tanks.

can 16/22mm eheim hose fit into the inlet??
