I will remove the lighting next to the skimmer. With lighting that strong, the skimmer n sump will grow algea. That small area will not help much for your tank.
thanks for the advice. I am in the progress of improving that area. Trying to cut down the stray lights.

my tank is 622.
the light is not complicated just that i have added ammeters to monitor the current applied to the LEDs. This will allows me to adjust the current accordingly.

Hi, sharing my 6ft FOWLR. Currently into first week of cycling.
It was a Arowana setup before being converted to FOWLR.
After scaping, water is added.

Thanks for the offer but gotten Deltec SC1660.
Cleaned the tank (really back breaking) and scraped the rocks (70% dead rocks, 30% artificial rocks).
Last night topped up the tank with DI water (1/3 filled), will continue tonight.
