I tried to feed some that we humans eat and my fishes didnt even want to touch......in the end bought the ocean nutrition one and they gobbled....
Personal observation, other then the enhanced garlic flavor, the sea weed is moist. Whereas the ones we eat are mostly dried. they put in mouth and spit.....
True, damn these fishes are picky about food. I also have one Tang that will not touch pallet food, all it ate was nori.

Ng couple indeed friendly. Glad that there are still nearby. I went to their old shop( next to ah Beng)a short while ago and was shocked to find the gates all locked. No choice but left

Oh Ok, I always get worries when the fish don't eat after 1 or 2 days... Haha... now I'm will focus more on their stability then on the feeding....
This LFS is famous for their sky high price, I was told by them they charge high is due to they QT the fish before selling. I went there a couple of time and everything look fine until recently visit. When I saw a few tang having ick and dead fishes lying around. Then finally I understand that is just marketing... lucky everytime I want to buy but is stop by their price else feed like kana chop carrot. Haha..
Been to some LFS in the east, have personally observed some dead fishes inside their tanks. They will quickly pick it out and discard. Most of the fishes on sale are extremely skinny. Some even have ick. Even if you think that you have purchased a "healthy" one, don‘t be surprised it already has ick or other disease.

Hi, I have used both Salifert and API. Both are equally good in my opinion. Easy to use too.

Thanks for ur replies guys, another thing i have floating particles in the tank looks like dandruff,is it normal will it dissappear soon or do i have do wc to clear it?

The particles are likely dust, detritus, dirt related. Just make sure you have a filter to catch them ( Sponge/ wool, etc). It will not clear away unless it is being trapped by your filter.
