seachem n kent marine for me,
i did tried brightwell, tlf and aquapharm. i felt seachem n kent are much more cost-effective.

I am using caribsea and brightwell now. High cost but seems that reefers have positive feedbacks about it.

I guess is okay, let them be a spike. Am looking for live critters such as amhidpod (wrong spelt) but no luck so far
amphipods will start growing once your refugim is stable. I used to have my refugim flooded with them. Good for keeping mandarin fish. Grow some cheato and possibly mangrove.

You are right bro. . I actually use your tank as reference during discussion with the tank maker.Total IOS area is 8 inches by 21 inches. The main tank is 28 inches x 21 inches x 16 inches.

What will this setup be? Fowlr, mixed reef, sps etc?
Tentatively fowlr tank as I have another existing 4x2x2 reef tank. May have some simple corals that doesn't require excessive light.

Any issues with micro bubbles getting into the display area? I used to have a similar setup, and I had baffles too, but it didn't help much. Had to put sponge to help get rid of them.
Surpringly no micro bubbles despite skimmer and return pump in the same location.
Could be bcuz of Skimz SM161 design, the water output is from below, hence minimizing the micro bubbles?

Dear all,
I have since decom one of the tanks and hence have a unit of Skimz E Series SM161 for sale. Bought about 6-7 months ago, comes with original receipt from Aquamarin. Still under warranty of course.
Condition 9/10 as I have only use it for a very short duration.
It is good for aquariums between 500L to 1200L accordingly to the specs and draws 780l or air/hour.
