Bought from Aquamarin slightly > 1 year ago.
Giving up as my tank was overran by brown Algae.
Quite a lot of live rocks + Red Sea sand and a few damsels to go with the tank. Bring your pail.

lighting seems to intensify certain colouration such as red, so i personally perfer a mixture of blue and white, having a proportion of 70/30 there about
Oic ... 70 blue and 30 white? No wonder the zoas look quite dull in my tank? hee... I am at 50-50 now.
Will consider adding just blue lights to my tank to make it 70-30 now.
Noticed @ GO, they used blues heavily to bring out the fluorescence of their corals.

I am on a RSM 130D... also thinking of a scrubber for the tank. I am using Deltec MCE600 skimmer.
Thinking of sticking on a sheet of the scrubber screen on the degassing plate of the MCE600. ie. Using the downflow from the MCE600 skimmer.
Not sure if this will work.
Any comments?

Yes I am using chiller.
When I tried to grab the chaeto after 2 days of introducing it to the tank, it broke into pieces and u can imagine the mess in my tank now... the floss filter choked every few hours.

My chaeto seems to be breaking into pieces. I placed it in the main tank as my refugum is not ready. Pieces starts to fall apart. From a big tennis ball, its now more like a ping pong ball.
I foolishly rinsed with tap water when i first got it 1 week ago... I suppose that might have killed it?
Or is my main tank water current too strong for the chaeto, causing it to break apart?

1. how many litres is it per bottle?
2. are the bottles easy to handle? ie bottle cap? ie can keep and use as and when I like?

So i took from Pere Ocean (Wilson), same price but can take 3 bottles without contract and no need monthly order. The bottles arrived today, quite happy so far, bottle stated they received Singapore superbrand award wor.
So with regard to Arees, I strongly advised reefers to consider other suppliers.

Ya boy. Was @ GO yday. Their zoas are nice. But as you said it... burn pockets real deep.
Must seriously execute the discipline of "go but don't buy" the next time I go.
So far, everytime I go GO, I have to buy somethg... dunno what's wrong with me.

Fairly strong current thanks to the 2 units of the AM Ocean Runner 6500.

4 tubes consisting of 2 white & 2 blue.

Water comes down through the filters both at the left and right side --- go to the centre refugium ---- go into to a next compartment before the Ocean Runner 6500 both at the left and right side pumps back to the tank.
The black cylinder there is the huge UV Coralife 36W.

Kudos to Mr Goh.
I actually like this Sump design tremendously. Brain stormed with Mr Goh before we finalise on this design. Its a most ideal sump design for me. Basically both left and right are 100% identical and the middle part is where all the equipments are placed. My N1000 is on the left outside the sump tank.

Considering that the Sea Water is cheap and includes living micro organisms.
Wouldnt it be a no-brainer that for a new tank, we should use sea water include of salt-mixed water to kick start a new tank cycling?
