    i remember one joker called me and asked for close up pictures of a second hand prizm i was selling. He wanted it from many angles so that he can examine for cracks. And i was only selling for $50. lol....

    I think if the same guy ask from pictures of your $900 pair, he will want to see the scales and internal of the gills.

    Anyway, this is a truly unique fish.

    Need help to choose wave maker

    Thanks all for advice

    so far is

    3 point for vortech

    0 point for wavebox

    For suggestion for MP60 spec look very good but $ seem to be very high. and if in anti-async might not balance when try to create wave.

    Any more suggestion?

    My opinion:

    If you want waves, go for tunze wavebox. It is a lot quieter. The Vortech on short pulse is super duper noisy.

    If you want something that you can have everything in one and love to play with different modes, go for Vortech. Again, be ready to deal with the noise.

    If you want just alternating current , go for 6055 with multicontroller. You can have muti directional flow control. Unlike like vortech that has flow in one direction only. And it is , agian i would like to stress, wayyyyyy quieter.

    tunze wavebox and tunze 6055 on multicontroller is really the best combo if you ahve a large tank like a 5 footer. For a smaller tank, the wavebox is taking up prime estate and may be unsightly and thus people may choose the vortech.

    End of the day, both products are good depending on your needs. However, one very obvious thing will be the level of noise, unless you are prepared to run your vortechs at 60% power or lesser.

    Actually i am quite sick of SRC members.

    Selling one stupid tank at almost giveaway price and i got to deal with all these idiots.

    5 members sms me and ask me when and where is collection. I replied that tank is to be collected by this sunday at bt panjang ring road. Then all of a *f.king* moment, they just vanished into thin air without further correspondence. Call them and they don't answer.

    Not that i am desperate to sell, i might even throw it away if this goes on.

    I feel compelled to put their h/p numbers here but i am controlling my anger.

    Are u all kids and stewpids? Have u all no courtesy to at least tell me if it is out of your way or that you don't think you want it anymore?

    I swear i will publish the the number of the next idiot that enquire and vanish again.

    total idiots. This hobby is not for you. So dig it.

    For those that have reserved collection for saturday and sunday,pls keep in touch.

    Comes with necessary piping and a small sump. You can put your chiller by the side.

    Hinges very new with hardly any rust.

    For non fussy owner.

    First come first served. Whoever can collect first will have it.

    unlike equipment, they are subject to stress while catching or transporting.

    Even for equipment, if u deal without seeing it in function, things can go wrong. It may be faulty or leaking electricity. Seriously, all buyers should deal with care if you have no prior experience with the seller or when the seller obviously start a new nick just for his sales.

    You may also want to check out the suns at Golden Octopus Trading. Not supersuns but very nice colors and also very big colonies. Some even look like red. And while you are there, u may also want to consider their japanese sun coral in their show tank.

    Montipora

    Should i get montipora cap or digi? There are 3 things under consideration - 1. my tank conditions are not the most perfect, so the hardier coral out of the 2 would be prefered 2. I need it to grow vertically (not too wide) 3. I feel that monti cap is more beautiful than monti digi.

    Another question - where do i buy these corals and how much do they cost? I have not seen them at reborn. I do go to aquamarin tanjong katong, but i only see acropora....

    Golden Octopus always has the monti caps in various colors and nice swirling shapes. Do a search and u should find their location easily.

    Bro Sherman,

    if this is for testing it is ok la. Otherwise i suggest black or dark colored acrylic as algae will quickly cover ur box and it will be really unsightly.
