  8. Can anyone offer a solution to the cyano problem in my tank??...any inverts will eat those red slimy stuff??
  9. Osmosis and akumonachi same person?? Hmmm..do u you check your water parameters??..or else we cannot conclude what is the cause of your fishes death. Since your tank is only one month old, probable cause of your fishes death could be because there is detectable ammonia and nitrite level in your tank.(probably only). Stop stocking up fishes and let ammonia and nitrite to get down to zero. Changing water would only reduce the nitrate level. Read up more on the fishes you buy. Reccomend you to go to www.liveaquaria.com
  10. Akumanohi, be patient and slowly stock up your tank. Patience is important in this hobby and since you are still pretty new to this hobby, i suggest that you start off with fishes that are easier to keep. On the amount of fishes that you can keep in your 3ft tank, it was suggested in a book i read that for the 1st 6 mths of ur tank, stick to 1" of fish per 4 gallons of water. After 6 months as ur tank become more mature, u can keep up to 1" of fish per 2 gallons of water. Of course this suggested level could only be vaild if you are able to mantain an adequate water parameter in your tank. Anyway, if you are keeping a reef tank, better not have too many fishes as it would be difficult to mantain the nitrate level if so.
  11. Can anybody tell me how to go pasir ris farmway area by from pasir ris interchange by bus? Streetdirectoy.com.sg only show how to go there by car.

  18. Hi, i'm using those wet/dry filter. It works the same way as eheim liberty. I'm not using that as my primary filtration but just using that to create some water current in my 2ft tank only. Will they become nitrate factory like canister filter?
  19. I think in layman term, nudibranch are just sea slugs and cukes are sea cucumber. U may refer to http://www.peteducation.com/category_summa...cls=16&cat=1896 for more information about them. Anyway, anemones may post similar danger as well.
  20. Can anybody teach me how to terminate those pest nudibranch. I saw them in my tank quite often recently and yesterday i saw a group of them feasting on one of my colonies of zoos.
  21. 2011 needs a powerhead and it will look really ugly in his nano tank. The powerhead will increase the tank temp as well. And besides, there is no need to use a skimmer rated up for 75 gallon tank when his tank is less than 10 gallons. Any other reefers got other good reccomendation for spidermanx??...if really good and efficient, can change it for my own 20gallon as well..hehe.
  22. cheong games??...JOHOR!!...60-70 percent cheaper over there!. Aiyah, but u have to cheong at the checkpoint while carrying those stuff as well. Can ask the person help u bring in if u r buying alot.
  23. For ur tank, i think a skimmer like weipro would not be a good idea. I would reccomend sander skimmer which i have been using. Have been skimming dark green skimmate for me.It is very compact as well. It works the same way as ur current skimmer but it's definitely much more efficient. Unlike ur skimmer which has to be dip all the way in to a achieve a yellowish skimmate, i only dip around 2.5 inches into the tank and thus, not much space is taken in ur small tank. So far, i have only tried sander skimmer lah. It's around $40 i think. If you are loaded, there may be other better options lah.
  24. Hi fuel, i read from somewhere before that these scallops tends to hide often. Does that happens to yours too?
