  1. Hey guys, think some time back, someone posted how to DIY liverocks stands so as to minimise the amt of liverocks used in the tank.

Can someone post back this thread or teach me how to diy 1?

    Wat are the materials needed?

    thanks for the help!!!

  2. Then you have to check on ur testkit. Could be not giving the right results. BTW, i used purephos for my sps tank also, somemore in conjuction with carbophos. No rtn/stn is seen. Maybe u should check on other parameters, like magnesium, calcium, etc. Or is your pump blowing directly on your sps? That might cause rtn/stn.

haha, u r 1 great fan of aquaz!

  4. Hi guys,

I just got this hydrometer and the instructions were

"Before using the deep six hydrometer for the first time, fill the hydrometer and allow it to sit for 24hrs to season the needle"

Does that mean I just fill it up with sea water and leave it alone for 24hrs?

hmms, never done this b4... when i buy, i juz give it a rinse...and start using it...

  5. nah, i didnt adjust my chiller...i meant u cant do tat all the time... its so user unfriendly... yup... tats y need to change a chiller... its run extended hours... not worth it la...

  6. Hey guys,

These days, my resun CL 650 is running extend periods of time, especially after i on my MH. Not very economic, and my electrical bills shoot up like $250 more. My stand is that either this chiller needs servicing, or its not able to support my tank at all.

Decide to change a chiller for good, so that its more economic in the long run.

What hp chiller should i get for a tank that is 4x2x2 and with a sump of 3x1.5x1.5? I think the total volume of water is about a 7ft. Do you guys have any brands to recommand?

I heard that daeil is good...and is e replica of artica? What are the price ranges?

    Thanks for the help guys!
