Eh are those FL......... sound like to me...IMO get them change to either PC og MH, Fl are not enough for most coral and to me mushrooms too

wow hehe yeah cowfishes is very aggresive.. i heard that too.. i think the only fishes i can put in is damsels or clownfishes now for this tank..
after your spanking i think the cowfishes is a good boy now.. hehe

yah even ricordea from ML isn't that expensive.. btw i got yuma for ard $15 and metallic green or orange at ard $10... eh $100!! nah too expensive even for floridea, btw is it 50frag of florideas in a stone

yup, throw away the water...gotta keep playing with your skimmerto get the best results..if the collection cup always collect water, it means that the water level in the skimmer is too high. lower the water level in your skimmer....
Yah but mostly air driven skimmer cannot get thick foam skimmate...... so dun expect to much green tea skimmate is ok already

how do we know that the fish is itchy? i having 2 clowns and they have lots of funny movement. they do not have any white spots on them. is there any other indicator that they are in a itch.
all water parameters are within expectation except that i keep experiencing raising no3. so i kept having partial water change weekly. Calcium level a bit high at 600mg/l.
please advise.
Other idication of ich are like constant brushing of he fish body on sand or rocks.........

There was a documentary on blue-ring octopus on discovery channel just yesterday.. The poison comes from the bacteria residing in its salivary gland and it is so potent that it can kill you in minutes. There was a clip on it killing a small crab. *whew*

I have been running around different LFS, farms for so long....rics are rarer than red pratas and brains.......
...... I will definitely pay for them.....if no one wans to pay the proper price for them..our LFS will not bring them in anymore....sob sob...
but...really...they are quite rare...people will pay a lot for them overseas as will.... can ask our downunder frens.............
take a look at this piece for example...itlis now about 50 cent coin size...such a small piece of mushroom...but it looks like a gem with so many coloration......it is just lovely to look at ....for me ....definitely worth it.....................
Yeah agree totally........ although i didn't geta chace to buy due to laziness to travel.... I always believe such price for ricordea is worth it...........

I had a yellow wrasse (aka banana wrasse) had recently killed my hermit crab.
I thought of adding cleaner shrimp into the tank. But afraid it face the same plight as the hermit crab. Please advise.
Yes most likely it is the same fate as the crab

not so sure about their name... saw some pinkish with hump like shrimp at a LFS and was told the name is camel shrimp.. but one website say the name is dancing shrimp.. so i not sure.. same pic..

So if mushroom die in the tank, it means that the water condition must be really bad. Rite? I have a couple of mushroom in my tank. For example...there are 6 pieces. One Mth later,,,left with 3 or 4 pieces.
IS that normal? I don see my mushroom very healthy....But my other coral looks fine.what are your water parameter like
