Sealife also has a rather rare Arrowhead Soapfish (3inches) in one of the front tank.

Just to add, Sealife also has some very nice blueface angels and a few Achilles tangs.
The achilles are quite stable and feeding on pellets already.

Lck also brings in fishes like bandit, conspic,gem tang and interruptus also Ma.
Yup but I am speaking about small bandits and even rarer fishes like true personifer, Klayi and carmabi(actually not that rare anymore if you have the $$$).

but i agree with your dom, now that reborn is not here, we lost a big source of rare fish esp bandits.
Oh I forgot to mentioned Digiman's true masudai hogfish. Yea I agree, Reborn's bandits were the best, already feeding in the QT tank is what amazed me most.

rare fish, even when caught, are treated differently from normal fish.
the narcosis angels and claire were specifically targeted to koji wada by blueharbor. they did not even consider to send to anyone else. so was the hogfishes and the neopercularis.
you need some very serious connections to pull off this kind of shipment through first hand dealings.
otherwise your best bet would be to buy from blueharbor which will go through two dealings already, and the price will be much higher.
there's simply no fight. we don't have anyone powerful enough here in singapore to deal directly with the fish catchers.
Actually I beg to differ, certain of our LFS (Reborn) have proven that our local LFS have the ability to bring in rare fishes (Klayi, carmabi, juv bandits, tinker pair, true personifer angel, interruptus angel). Athough not in large shipments but at least its a start. Now that Reborn has closed down, hopefully other lfses can step in.

It will be v hard to ever get hold of one.
I believe so tats why I am encouraging LFS to bring more maldives and mauritius shipment. Sadly alot of the fishes from these region is similar to our indo and philippines counterpart and usually are more expensive thus most LFS are usually reluctant.

And now the long awaited updates of the uber rares!
According to BH these were from the deepwater of Tahiti!
Possibly a geographical variant of Bodianus Sanguineus or it may be a new species!
Cirrhilabrus Claire!! Range extends out of cook islands!
Maybe Bodianus Opercularis. Need confirmation.

As per subject, have a stable piece of Helfrich goby to let go. Caught it out after my match making session of 3 Helfrich has been completed.
This is the more dominant of the 3 and is feeding on everything from mysis to small pellets. I am looking at $120.

SL came in hawaii shipment, saw flame angels, yellow tangs, chevron tangs and small cute achilles tangs. In addition, other fishes like purple tang, atlantic blue tangs, neon gobies, royal gramma, frimani dottyback, blue angel, powder black tangs, powder blue tang and many assorted fishes are still available.

LADD resplendent x argi angelfish at USD2900!
I'll pay that amount for a pure resplendent and not a hybrid.
Think its because it looks very similar to a brazilian flameback. Heck, even the brazilian flamebcak has more intense colouration

Dear All
This was left from the list of fish sold. In order not to cause further stress to the fish, decide to give it away for those who can collect tomorrow evening at Potong Pasir.
Remarks: Do note that this fish has a split tail on the corner or the tail fin since young and some slight torn on fins during catching, other than that its a extremely healthy fish.
Pls contact me @ 9139 1438 to reserve and no aeroplane or rejecting upon collection as I amm giving away free.

Hi clearing a few fishes to reduce bio-load
1)Flame angel: $45 ( 2-3 inches, Been with me for 1 year or more, currently the breeding male with my rusty flame hybrid)
2)Blue/ Hippo Tang: $20 (5 inches, raise it from a tiny 20 cents coin and eats everything)
3)Thompsoni Tanng: $40(5 inches, Seldom seen tang, eats everything and has long streamers)
*Wil only start catching the fishes once I have a taker for all.

Just back from HK...
Latest update is store of gem fishes hidden behind hardware store aka "Top Sun Aquarium" has already been turned into bicycle store... Sigh, it was still around last year
