  5. hi bros and siss is the anthias species so difficult to keep ?? got them on 3 occassions first - only live in my tank for 15 mins - looks like gasping for air and in a vertical position and then just died. 2nd try - also live for about 15 mins - had what looks like a fit , jerking its body 3 continuos times and then motionless dead. 3rd try - situation like the first one, but looks ok after 30 mins but hiding, but next day dead on the sand. I do not want to give up in keeping anthias, can anyone with success with these fish give some advice. I acclimatise them the normal way - floating bag for 30 mins and even a drip for 30 mins b4 putting it in the tank. no QT though.

  9. hi guys i need advice from you regarding crabs in my tank the problem is that there are crabs in my tanks that are killing my shrimps no wonder my shrimps keep doing the vanishing acts. caught 1 small crab doing its evil deed just now (for me, for the crab i guess its survival). the thing is the shrimps is 4 times the lenght of the crabs and it still manage to drag and overpower the poor shrimp into its little hole . my question is how can i get rid ot the crabs cause I want to keep shrimps in my tank I think that there are a few of them in there . I know some crabs are good for yr tank for eating algae and eating leftovers from feeding but this one definitely is not.
