oh Hell Nooo ! do not do that or u will get electrocuted it should be place in dry surrounding. the input should be connected to a pump in yr sump via tubing or if u hv an external filter , connect the input to the output of the filter. the output of the UV should transfer the disinfected water back to the sump or can also straight to the man tank. most UV filters come with instructions please chk them. for it to be effective , the flow should be slow but not too slow . pls searchup more for more info on the internet .

anyone keeping this fish ? i tried 3 times keeping this fish but thay cannot survive more than 4 days all bought from same lfs i suspect cyanide collected fish..... anyone keep this fish for long period ? may i know where u get it from.. i do not want to give up keeping this fish as it is 1 of my favourite fish. as far as my tank is concern parameters are acceptable and been running over a year already....and fishes in my tank are several butterflies , moorish idol , clowns and cardinals... if these fishes can survive why not the tuskfish ?? i understand they are relatively easy to keep.

hi why dont u just diy ? its easy just need a container , tubing and a small ball valve ?? u can search the WWW for more info.. the one shown only can fill small volume of water...which need to be replaced more often...

maybe a more knowledgable reefer will answer...
