    Decided to pop by a LFS in the North East since quite of my LS died while I was on business trip to the U.S. Went in and saw that the tanks are all filled with corals...

    Hmm... seems like business no good but since was told that there is a sale, why not look see look see..

    Went ahead and asked the price of a few pieces of corals.

    Was told that Monti is $40... wow... I only pay like $20+ usually. Looks ok but put off by the price, no wonder no sale. Procceed to look at other corals and asked for the prices.

    Seeing that I have a bit of interest in a reddish brown monti, the guy at the shop immediately packed it up as well as another piece and urged me to pick up another piece. Was a bit sian liao. Just picked one more piece, paid and left.

    A bit sian after getting home. Does LFS need to resort to such hard sell tactics?

    i know wat u meant.. i went to this LFS, was quoted $80 for a lobo, the size of less than 3" and $60 for a orange place... btw, this very same place, i bought the same corals for $25 and $20 before....

    But seriously, if in ur shoes, i might not get anything at all and walk away...

    I.M.O, equipments need not be all high end. As long as the right attitude to learn and dedicated to this hobby, then I will say even the China brand equipments will also last the corals and L.S in the tank for many more years to come. Its like wat u pointed out, passions, attitude, patient and determination for it. :rolleyes: Ur statements also accounts to every reefers to be responsible to the L.S and corals tat we are keeping in our tanks. Tat's why its good to see u coming out to share ur experiences and knowledges amonst the reefers here. :bow: well, wat are we waiting for rogerttt, more goody pics... :lol:

    would love to see all these beautiful wrasses in action.. cant keep any coz of my "stewpig" 8 line wrasse... killed my cleaner shrimps, blood shrimps, candy hog and my carpenter wrasse :angry:.. it left my yellow coris alone coz of its size.. must trap it out..

    btw, me aint no shifu.. the real master is Gloudian.. hahahah... me just a trying to take a leave from him.. hahaha... but ur tank inhabitants are really phenomenon

    fishtalk... can.. if u catch out my crab.. hahaha...

    basically, i'm using those holders for attaching autofeeders to the eurobrace and superglue a clip catch (from Eheim) to the holders.

    U can make use of those extension from Tunzes to do the same thing...

    my DIY was very shoddily done.. paisay to show lah.. show liao dun noe where to hide my face...

    Mayhe the nemo sees tat my arm got hair algae tat's Y peck on it. And I can tell u tat its ain't a cheeky peck but a nasty bite :ph34r:

    Bro, U really are my bro. I was abt to post abt "DUMP" when u commented this. anyway, last night after "DUMP" :eyeblur: went to check the tank and saw... ... make a GUESS... :whistle

    A 50 cents coin size hairy crab :pinch::eyeblur: Its near the sand bed and therefore little effort to capture the fugitive. Anyone wanna adopt ? :eyebrow:

    U see.. hahaha... next time dump more.. and soon u be crab free.. hahah

    Hi Kel,

    I have a Tunze 6000 without controller. Its the older model that's brown casing... heard that its more reliable than the black casing type. Currently keeping as spare but wouldn't mind parting with it just for you.

    Thomas Lim ever told me he caught a huge worms too in his tank and I never thought I too have such a HUGE worm in my tank too :unsure::blink: And luck was on my side when I spotted it when I went pee in the middle of the night. :whistle

    Bro kelstorm, I was also thinking to use the huge worms for fishing, but withdraw the thought after the slime keeping coming out of the worms. as u can see the white paper too got colors and slimes all over :sick: Almost makes me puke :eyeblur: Next time, will reserve it for u to fish ya :lol:

    wah.. when u pee, u catch huge worm.. wonder if u take a dump how? hahaha

    anyway, i dun fish.. so, u can donate to UW world to feed the eagle ray... :lol:

    I dunno how to make video clips from it lei. If not sure to download for u all to see. Remember my other black sailfin blenny ? She would come to my arm and start pecking on my arm as if there are algaes on it :pirate:

    Well, sometimes fishes are so weird. Such as this nemo !!! :evil: First he wriggles on the coco worm, next he tickkle the clammy. After that, he went rolling on the star carpet ... sigh... Wat exactly he wanna do. He's all over the corals man :ooh:

    maybe ur arm really hv algae leh.. hahaha :whistle

    i think ur nemo cannot decide which one is more comfy leh. :whistle
