they do not move up and down..... they slowly take off with their tails hook together..... than near mid water , they turn and face each other forming a "LOVE" shape... then the egg be transfered.... then breakoff.... ard 3/4 height of my 2.5ft high tank.

1.5 ft.... can still do..... but the horses may have some dificulty doing the egg transfer.... unless u are going bare bottom

weipro 2011-2014 consider cheap and good.... my first few skimmers all are weipros........... but recently found a lobang on needlewheel skimmer... i guess if u can afford go for neeedlewheel.

well since the nano is off..... i suggest going for 2x2x2 or 2x1x2 tank.... this sizes can hse 3 pairs comfortablely....

13" quite short for sh tank..... can do too once u see ur pair greeting each other once the tank light on.... courting and swimming together.... u gota up grade to at least 24" high tank. any other equipment than live sand?
