Really thanks for that advice. I really thought just leave it inside the vinegar for few hours will do. Now will just brush it with vinegar.

Did not know that. I keep brushing them but still stick alot on the wave maker. Will try out the vinegar method. By the way, what is the those hard algae called? The bro sold me mentioned it but did not catch at that time.

Just bought a used wave maker from a marine tank user. Is there anyway to effective remove those hard algae stick on the wave maker?
