how to check for expiry date for test kits? i just bought a amonnia aquarium pharmaceuticals. its like i see the price very cheap already and when i pay the auntie still give discount somemore. im quite worry thats its near to expiry date or had already expired. can anyone help me out with this? if expire already i want to get back there and change a new one, i still kept the receipt with me. can anyone help me out?

it has been 3 weeks already, sigh..... i put it in a red pail in the balcony with air stone running on it, althought its not as smelly as before, when i take them out and smell it still smell a bit like rotten egg. There is one particular stone which has a hole in the center of the stone still has a super smelly smell of rotten egg. its like a super waste of time.....should i give up on them?

What brand of test kits is reliable? im currently using tetra, i find that the colour in nitrite is hard to match the reading. any recommendations?

i tried to brush the surface of the live rock with those wash floor type of brush. toothbrush too small already,but not all of the mouldy stuff come off. its been 3 days and the smell of rotton egg is still there. Will Live rock become rotten? anybody had experience handling this kind of rock? Please help.

is it common to find this in live rocks? it has many snake like coming out from the rock. i cannot see the round disk from the small hole. will it come out and walk walk? i cannot find much information about brittle stars on goggle and the closest pic is this, it has same hairy snake like legs but different colour.

i tried to pull it out but cannot, part of the tail was ripped off when i use more force. is it a snake of something, is it poisonous? kinda worried as i wasn't wearing any protection.

maybe u can try putting pellets or a small piece of apple in a small transparent glass bottle. eg those essence chicken kind to lure the slug to the food. hope this helps
