must depend on the type. there are many type of stainless steel. those higher end one wont rust..
Maybe u can enlighten us wat are the more resistance stainless steel and wat makes it more resistance. Seems like u are a chemical expert.

But beware when purchasing those live rotifer and phyto, becos there is no proper QC (inconsitence in quality?) and the content in the bottle could have been contaiminated. Use at own risk.
U maybe better off with dead rotifer, can get at Aquamarine (rotifeast). Just my 2 cent.

The new DI unit should give u zero, why leh? U think the manufacter of this unit will want to produce something that does not work and buddle it w a TDS meter so as to let users fry their axx? DI are not rocket science.

Yr Suncoral has tissue recession. Futhermore, PE is not really fantastic. u might want to heal it before selling it. Just some suggestion.

Are u camping over night to jaga the tank for leaks?
Not trying to scare u, but if the tank leaks and the water soak yr wooden floor overnite, the wood may be damage.

If common sense can give you the reading, then tds meter is for? (measuring your common sense?)
Consider the following factors before u ask:
1. The unit used comes with dual reaction chamber.
2. In front of the the dual reaction chamber is a carbon block prefilter.
3. The unit is brand new.
If the unit does not give u 0ppm, then something is very wrong with the unit.
If u ask the question after Jervis run the unit for say 1000L of water, then its more relevant. I hope it makes sense to u.

Common sense will tell u its 0. If its not, what's the point of running DI........

Its misleading to just post pics to show how powerfull the skimmer is. For all u know it may take a week to produce the kinda of skimate.
Best is to substain with info like duration to collect the skimate, feeding regime, bio load etc.....

I m surprise u ask this question. U should have ask the LFS to feed the fish before purchasing!
What happen? Is the fish eating in the LFS in the 1st place?
I would recommend Henry's food, reefers has use it with excellent results. Its a potent blend, do feed sparingly. The Queen is a nice specimen, hope it survive.
