the lck ones are very good. but not always available.. would be handy if another source (closer to town opened up with them on a regular basis)
Yeah, I agree too. LCK always complaint rainy days no stock but even hot sunny days they have no stock.
I gave up last year on seahorse because of this stock issue. When my seahorses gets live shrimp to eat too much times, they always starts to refuse on frozen mysis.
Anyone found any other sources?

I have 2 baby blue tangs to sell off after quarantine of months. Each $25 at juron. Size less than 25 mm from head to tail.
I am keeping the third.

well, aipstasia will destroy other corals too if too late.
why not peppermint shrimp? My peppermint wiped all aipstasia. Now they feed on fish food and not shy like my lousy coral banded shrimps.

Dunno if my Clarkii pair will accept it or not since they are under the same family group and they own a host.The Clarkii complex.
they will if your tank condition is very RA, LOL.

That's unless I'm able to get them up to sub-adult sizing (reidis fries are considered to be one of the more difficult seahorse species to raise).. anything smaller and most of us here would have difficulty getting the right size of live feed for them.. unless they are weaned into frozen early.. but from what I heard, that is a pretty difficult task..
Lol.. maybe i can feed them with my peppermint shrimp larve.. (rather expensive feed though)

Wah so good ah breed lionfish.
Thats why I prefer shrimp to get rid of aipstasia. Best is to monitor the rock before you buy corals.

Hi Bro,
I added Naso tang into my 4 ft tank 2 days ago. I realise that the naso take over the yellow tang territory as I saw yellow tang was outside the rock area after light is off. before the Naso tang added, yellow tang was always not seen after the light off. Wonder will this cause problem to the yellow tang as it has been with me for more than 2 yrs. I hope it is ok.

Yes i saw it swallowed the pellets because my clownfish gave it to eat it.It is their host.

everytime in the past, when I have new water, I add in additives and skimmer didnt skim them off.

Old clown die of ich so now i got another clarkii use another bubble cause the old bubble melt cause of high po4.Then now got a pair use my bubble.Haizz

hi. every place can give you the best price. as we are buying pets here. its best to find more stablise fish rather then spend it on cheaper fish and let it die on you.
actually every LFS has stable fishes. Fishes become unstable during transportation and new home or environment.
Price is more important. Then secondly, check the fish status before buying, ignore the LFS staffs.
Every LFS can tell you that they have the best and all that BS to make you buy. However there are 2 LFS I rated better in terms of sincerity than other LFS, they are ML and LCK110. Price wise is a bit more but sometimes these LFS makes me happy so I buy. I just dont like LFS over-bluff me which will make me walk away.

Ya I saw at ML it is way bigger than my turbos at home.They cost 12 times more cause the turbos i got is at 1 dollar each.
yeah, saw that, still looks different. Maybe I have turbo for 7 yrs and had been struggling with them not to disturb my corals, LOL.

i used false clown and couple of green chromis to help my tank cycle
green chromis belong to damsel family too but more "guai". the rest of the damsels no no for me.

Yeah, finished dancing with lionfish, LOL. Lionfish went mating so I have to come back.
chromis is slightly above level of "low aggressive".
damsels are suitable to live with lionfish.

majano has slight bubble tip. Had those 7-8 yrs ago when new to this hobby. The LFS still said gimme free when I buy 100kg LR. I thought still got free gold, LOL.

To remove that thing cycle ur tank for a 1 month then add a filefish.Hmm damsels supposedly to be super hardy.Mine still survive for 4 months.Oh my u added too much damsels.Now i noe one factor that leads to the death of ur fishes.
but filefish not suitable for my tank, just wont risk.
damsels are too hardy and hard to catch, LOL.

may i koe when the dead market prawn is use to start the cycling....then when(for how long?) have to take out the prawn from the tank?
In Reuben case, live rocks are dead so he has to start cycling for a few months. no point adding prawn and this is the traditional way which no longer used. The dead things in his Rock will be acting more than your prawn.
Everyone's case are different, depending on setup, things done, things in the tank, live rock status,......
If your Live rocks OK, just put one fish after 2-3 weeks cycling. Introduce slowly, one after few weeks.

I have notice that for tanks without chiller, the colour of the fishes is not as vibrant.
Any one has the same experience?

do you know what is parasites? food wont kill parasites. If food can kill parasites, then all other food and additives gone bankrupt. And I will buy this food too if it works and the fishes will become superman fish. They can jump out and fly around with me, why not? LOL.
BTW, you import this product? Or someone paid you to advertise? I thought your previous post in another place saying your power blue dead even feeding this food.

I do very agree.
If compressor unit spoiled, nobody wants to repair because compressor are all tight seal. Repairing compressor cost a bomb.
If replace the compressor, it is not worth as it is the most expensive part in chillers, aircons,...
If it is the fan, maybe you can open up your chiller to repair yourself. I did that several times. My friend's chiller fan was worn out so he has to modify.
My chiller fan's bearing bushing was always dirty because the filter mesh is slightly damaged (has small holes). Perhaps you have the same case?
Final advice, open up the chiller. If the compressor gives you sound, it means it is going to be damaged soon. You can start looking for a new chiller.
You cannot differentiate with a bar fridge. Bar fridge compressor is so tiny and badly made. The bigger the compressor, the higher price it will jump.
Nowadays if you monitor, nobody will replace the compressor for aircon or fridge when they failed. The will replace the whole equipment.
