    Are you using Natures Ocean Aragonite Black Sand?

    If u are can pm me or reply how many bags u roughly use for ur tank? Ur tank dimension?

    Hi Crypt, yes, i'm using Nature Ocean Aragonite black sand, just 1 bag for my 3 x 1.5 x 1.5, as I just wanted a thin layer of sand, thickness of sandbed is just 1 to 2 inches.

    Lightset sold and collected.

    WTS 2FT T5 HO Solite Fixture with ATI Tubes in excellent condition. 1 Aquablue special and 1 Blue Plus. Fixture is 1.5 years old and tubes only couple of months old.

    Hailea - HC150A(1/10hp) is definitely not enough as i was using that initially to power my 3ft tank with the same specs. Chiller took too long to cool the tank and thus needed for an upgrade.

    Would like to enquire about running a chiller, currently thinking of getting a,

    Hailea - HC150A(1/10hp),

    Current:1.1A

    Power: 1/10 HP

    Refrigerant: R134a

    Flow rate: 250- 1200 L/Hr

    Will it be sufficient to run a 3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank using these chiller? I'm a newbie :paiseh: to these and after 1st failure in having these wonderful hobby, am thinking of getting things slow and get all the facts correct :rolleyes:

    There's still more to which i need clarifications and answers but for now i will read on and learn more from the experienced reefers in the forum.

    Blue tang suspected blind

    Hi, I have a 1.5 inch blue tang which is with me for abt 3 mths, got ich attack 2 mths back, brought it out for hypo treatment for 2 mths, now no more ich but it seems that it cannot see properly or totally blind. No physical change to the eyes itself, but it's still eating. I feed it everyday from syringe with a variety of food, cyclopeeze, dr bio's ######, artic pods. It would aslo eat my red bamboo algae or hair algae if it bump into them. My water parameters are good and no other ich or disease for other fishes. No other fish disturbing it too. My other livestock are firefish, flameangel and maroon clown who leave the blue tang alone. Any bro who have similiar experience or advise? Thanks!! I dun wan to give up on it as I love it dearly!!
