  6. My 3 Anemones' favourite food = sliver side fish
  7. Imagine you have to swim in your tank to arrange your coral
  8. Hi Guys, May i know any of you guys has keep a mandarin in a 2ft tank for more than a year in healthy condition? And food use is brine, mysis, pellets other than pods? Getting it to feed on frozen food is one, keeping it alive and healthy is another. Just curious
  9. IMO, no requirement, the bacteria, crabs, worms will break down the detritus. Of cos siphoning is the fastest way to clean it. By the way my sump is the most ugliest tank in the world . Its full of algea(micro/macro), tank wall and LR are covered with diatom, lots of mini coco worm and pods....
  10. Bristle worms live in the sediment, eat up bacteria and detritus, and produce micro-plankton. In other words, the bristle worm is your friend. Although there are species of bristle worm that occasionally preys on soft corals, it is almost never seen in reef tanks. Most of the species show up as beneficial scavengers and can become quite lage, up to 20cm in length
  11. Haha...It sure looks cute, saw them floating around the tank, ocassionally sticking to the tank wall Yes, my 1ft cube tank was start up 2 months ago, and i use sea water bought from LFS. Guess that's how these cuties came along
  12. Found this on the front wall of my tank. Anyone know what's that (bigger circle)? Its slighting bigger than pod. See the smaller circle? that's the pod.
  13. Is it smelly? Mine was like that months back, in the end throw away
  14. To keep fish only, use a canister instead
  15. 12" fan So big. Maybe you can try using 2 profantec fans to blow the surface. I find them very powerful and effective. As for me, when light off, temp can go down to 25.5 during the day. I on MH from 1600H-0100H, with actinic from 1500H-0200H.
  16. Don't think its my place. I did a experiment by putting my hand 8-9 inch from the MH, and its not really hot compare to some of my friend's 150W DE.
  17. For my 3ft cube, 20% every month. For my 1ft nano cube, 20% every 2 days
  18. I'm running a 14k 250W SE MH + 2 x 39W T5 over my cube tank, using 2 profantec fan and the temp range btn 26-27.9. No aircon
