Hi all, sharing my success I'm using a piece of glass wrap with some netting material i found at pasir ris fish farm. I blast it 24/7 with 18W & 9W 6500K PL. First day.... Seeded some algae... After one week.... After two week.... Close up.... -
Hope to give away the above soon. Been with me for 2+ years. Interested pls PM me, thanks 1 x Maroon Clown 1 x spotted Cardinalfish 2 x Chromis

Hi, nitrite must be zero. What's your PH and hardness? Any other coral in your tank.
-
Nice nano tank! Care to share your water, lighting parameter and filtration system used? Any chiller used?
-
You should not have any problem finding PL ballast, just ask around in DIY shop or self fix, or even sim lim tower. PL tube wise i usually go to pasir ris fish farm area, think its at Lot 63 something like that.

36W PC light are much longer than your 13W, not sure will it fit in your hood. Next, you'll need longer reflector and change ballast also, on the wiring portion its easy if you have some electrical background. Check out nano-reef.com, you'll get some useful idea there

Good. Now let your tank cycle and don't go back to that shop again, since they want you to fail from start

hi, is the rock smelly? no offend pls, you should really read up before setting up a marine tank

Keep SPS with NSW with vibrant color
JuzzMarine replied to patrick123's topic in SPS and Advanced Reefkeepers Forum
Beautiful I see that you have a bare bottom tank? Did you add additives to compensate NSW? i'm currently cycling my 15 gal nano bare bottom using NSW and planning to keep SPS. Though i know iwarna uses NSW and has nice tank but i want more opinion that it can be done and i'm sold! Thanks Thairun -
Ways to reduce Detritus in Sump Tank
JuzzMarine replied to Dratino's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
couple of snails, crab, worms should help with clearing up of detritus. Best method is to suck it up yourslef during water change. Sump is not a place for fish lah suggest you give it up -
