I personally have tried Maxspect AI and Radion before.

i would say the price difference do justify their differences.

However it is my limited experience only.

perhaps you would like to share what are you after, in terms of sps lps.

budget wise, tank sizes etc etc.

some of these lightset have more classic control while others are more modern. so it all depends on what you are after.

if you notice the drop in color after ozone then its too much light par that bleach your digi and monti.

hydra52 have strong intensity and generally digi/monti are not so light demanding.

ozone improve clarity to the water therefore the intensity of the light can penetrate better resulting in your corals bleaching or shock to light.

what you can do,

1) move your corals lower.

2) reduce your photo period.

3) reduce your lighting intensity. ( this can be done using acclimatization mode for AI light set)

there are some inbalance in your tank that causes the swing.

i agree that if you could show a photo of what you have in your tank.

my tank drains about 1 odd dkh a day, im using CR to hold the kh at 9.xx to 10.xx

i notice that if you have big clams or alot of coraline growing rapidly it kinda contributes to the drop in DKH
