usually when we use led we dont max its output at 100%.
however there are very few reefers who hangs their led high up and set a high output to maximize the value.

if you have the space, you can cycle some water with your media in a big bucket/container. so when your new tank arrives, just transfer them over. may help to reduce some cycling time but not recommended

hi bro, im keen but do you have a clearer photo of the base? im looking for something more stable because i heard newly frag ssc do stn easily.. this looks freshly cut would it be possible to view first? cant exactly tell if its a ssc as the color isnt similar to this.

so much for that 15cm space and you will use it up in a matter of minutes!
although your budget maybe low, you can always shop for 2nd hand items. some of the more important items you have to get to start the tank, get them first. the not so important stuff like corals and fish and even new set of lighting can wait first!
its like buying a house or a car, most people try to stretch because it most problem gonna stick with you for years!

Hi bro, have you tested out po4?
this is base on my experience.
i do have them once awhile but they no longer appear. i keep my po4 very low and i have not seen any over the months.
also i did notice that my seahare wouldnt have much effect if the current there is pretty strong. i believe the seahare have problem braving the waves lol!

Hi bro! It happened to me few years back, i was having a LPS/Softies tank. the carbon was in the tank for over a year, did not notice of any problem and i had a sea cucumber as well. These are base on my personal experience. hope it helps
