  1. Personally, I think the Clementi Shop (nearest to the famous claypot rice coffee shop) still has the cheapest price and the widest range of products comparable to Pet M***t. (at least in Clementi area or in Clementi Block 328 ) They used to sell freshwater products but recently have carried in some Marine products. The Female owner is nice too and do give general advice without obligation to buy any products from them. I have no comments for the other 2 shops in C328.
  2. I think it is pods too. Do u do water change or use Seawater in your tank ?
  3. I like the way you phrase yourslf "I'm the guy with the spikey hair and a goatie. Looks something like the evil icon." I was driving the silver car but only with one woman, cannot afford to have 2 lah !!!!
  4. Angry, You were there on Sun...I was there too around 5pm
  5. Tried Octazin in my reef tank but doesn't help...even though Water Life wrote to me that this is most popular product compare to Myxazin...but in term of values, myxazin more value for money....
  6. Tanggy, How do the 2 tangs (yellow and PBT) "accomodate" each other ? Mine fight like mad for territories even though I use the mirror method...
  7. Angry, You still combating white spot wit your fishes ? feed garlic...
  8. This remind me...i once used ready chop garlic (purchase in NTUC). I make sure that the product does not contained addictives but just pure garlic...put a bit into the tank and my yellow tang love it....now it kenna ich again...I think I should find that bottle....
  9. OP is selling 5 pound for $15...if I am not wrong...
  10. Wow..nice...got corals at every place....did u use proxy to glue them together ?
  11. I sold off a pair a few months back. Regret laio!!!
  12. Thanks, AT. Couldn't find this thread anymore..that why I post it up. BTW, what kind of brand of salt do all of you use ? Again, hear say, that certain brand of salt mix may have nitrate residue. Don't know if this true.
  13. I am tired of topping up salt to ensure the salinity of my tank everytime I change water. I heard that using seawater is a good alternative. The only issue is that the LFS have to ensure that we are getting good quality seawater passed through UV. But one interesting discovery I heard was that seawater has less nitrate compared to DIY saltwater. Any comments ?
  14. Wow, thanks for that advice. BTW, I feed the bubble with mixture of clam, prawns, etc...
  15. Heart pain...that saleman just stand there and said "All are good and nice"....I asked why got white stuff, he said it is the shell....
  16. You're sure ? Wow Liao...another LFS shop on the blacklist....
  17. Got a shock today when I saw that my bubbles shrank and gave out a lot of brownish stuff like "noodles". I thought it is dead liao and place in my sand bed and after a while the corals was bubbling again... Any explaination for this ?
  18. The white body is its shell. I realise most people suncorals are orange lumps corals whereas mine is white hard shell like a football with yellow corals.
  19. I got a suncoral from a Marine LFS but I notice most reefers sun corals are orange whereas mine is yellow. Any differences ?

    Epoxy

Does it comes with 2 parts ? I never use it because I thought they were not "Reef Safe"..i.e. the chemical compund in the eproxy glue may contamine the water.
  21. Thank you for your enquiries. FG Tank is sold with all accessories, pump, lightings, filter materials, kois etc. I got it from Mainland Tropical Fish for $1500 but sold it off for $300 (equivalent of commercial FG tank).
  22. Dear all, I lost my HP last night @ Orchard Cineplex (Sian..only 2 months old HP) and so those who sms me, I apologise that I have lost your numbers and contact. However, I can be reached at my pager, 95205792. My tank is open for viewing this weekend. Most of you asked what I offered for the price of $300. 1. Slate Stone FG tank - $1500 2. 4ft Aquarium lights - $70 3. Filter mats and pumps - $ 150 4. 4 Kois - medium sizes, 2 chagoi, 1 goshiki, 1 mix breed - each Koi range from $30-$50. 5. 4 way Air pump and accessories - $25 6. Wooden Garden cover - $40 7. Garden Stones (medium to large) - one big box, $40 8. Other filter materials, bio-balls etc, etc... Reason to let go: I promise my home minister to cut down the no. of tanks in our house.
