main tank still in messy and unpleasant stage with brown out sps and small frags all over the tank, will do a major rescape once I settle the equipments. Then can show FTS I think what you need is a hall not just a room too house all your tankssss

initial planning is to upgrade display tank to 4ft by 4ft with 2.5ft height. But due to budget & time constrain, as we hope to complete the renovation and setup before CNY, will be using the existing tank for the time being. as for the 1K MH…….changed to DIY hybrid LED/T5 as the MH generate too much heat

Hai!! The advantage of having fish room is the ease of maintenance and the flexibility of adding more equipments, frag tank and even multi display tanks to the system in the future.

Mine is the miniature version of those from RC, but the concept remain the same.

I used to have common tiolet as fish room before the renovation. haha

Connected overflow pipe to sump, and installed chiller to return pump.

Decided to do some minor home renovation to my 6 year+ flat before CNY, so took this opportunity to start over my marine tank. This is my new fish room, 2/3 the size of a HDB room. Only display tank will be visible from living hall, all equipments will be hidden from sight.
