yeah. that was what was told to me. which after i clean the liverock, add 2 snails and algae blenny, reduce light, it became no more. so just get a brush and scrub your rocks if you dn like it. mine was quite nice with the bubbles so i kept it tat way for a while. ha.

but 2014 for a 2ft tank on 24/7? wouldnt it be overskimming?

algaes. new tank? i had mine like this few weeks back. took out the rocks and scrub clean all the algaes, add a algaeblenny and 2 snail, reduce feeding. now the situation much better. use phos remover also.

read somewhere on this problem before. someone suggested placing the cleaner in on another rock at night. you might wana try. all trial and error. maybe you will buy and buy till you found a cleaner which your boxer likes. even cat and dogs can live together sometimes..

will not recommend it. high chances your cleaner will be tortured. mine suffered for 3months. constant trimming of the feelers by the boxer. forced confinement in a cave. finally it gave up and died of some unknown causes.

sorry to dig up this thread. realise the prob after using all grade 0 sand. set up my tank today and added in the LR to cycle in the muddy water. is there any other way to clear the dust particle or i juz got to clear everything and restart again? thanks

what power of pump is recommended? i already bought 2 air pumps which is not powerful enough to drive the foam out into the container. the 2nd one is 500l/h. should i get another airpump or is it because its the first day running so the foam will not be a lot?

so in that case meaning carbonate will only up the kh while buffer will up and maintain both. was looking at seapharm part A and B marine buffer. any idea how is it? din see seachem reef builder. only saw seachem reef buffer. got diff?
