Hi Tom, to ask .... did u have a look at the shell?? take a closer look, the eyes may be transparent... if it is, then the crabs are not dead, it is just that they changed their outer carapace. that's all anyway,these crabs are not what u would want to have in your tank. they will cause an early demise to your fishes if they are rather big in size.......... just a word of warning....

hmm................... about the largest tank thingy.............I've heard of a local fella who keeps a 12 feet reef tank..........he lives in a bungalow so his tank is entirely drilled into the wall with the system in another compartment underneath the tank

yeayeayea~~ if that the case i wun mind so much i dun mind this sat coming out~~ i wish to go to the further places like hong leong or havelock hawaii, sea view all these places dunno how to go at all......... never went before if can see how many pple can meet up this saturday lah then we go coffeebean sit down and drink and get our AssEs moving to these fish shops~~

If i am not wrong.........the red crab is a snall bright red species.........kwang will usually bring that in it costs only about 80 cents each and it is like a fiddler crab..............needs an open air surface...... but it wouldn't just die like that even if it is underwater........ can keep dun worry i think it is just very cute

haha if u guys dun mind, we can get together meet up 1 fine weekend......~ go down to coffeebean sit down tok tok, then after that we go to pet shops and shop shop if u guys dun mind, mind telling others our ages~?? me in early 20s at the moment, havin a 3 feet marine tank right now....... sustaining a moorish idol, coral beauty, damsels(10), tang, clown fish,lotsa shrimps, anemones, and some corals................... wanna post up pics, but no digital camera.................... haiz my tank has been running for 2 yrs liao............

DAMn IT!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH.....................I went down to Lim Chu Kang 110 there and saw these anemones on a rock too!!!!!!! I bought alot of them!!! oh my god............................my tank...........my fishes...............*SoB* the fat fella there told me that they were bubble tip anemone babies..........they were a real bargain i tot................. sh*t sh*t sh*t!!!!

well.............sorry ah back to the topic of the cleaner fish.............I do know that most books do not advocate keeping cleaner rasses in their tanks............but they can be kept.........I am no pro here.....I just started keeping them about 5 yrs ago.....I kept mine for about 9mths, just feeding them with tubifex and brine shrimp. I bought that fish in Kwang's aquarium that time and he told me that they cleaner fish in his tank had been there for 2 mths already .....and it looked perfectly healthy~~ so i just purchased it and kept it but it has since died due to an electric shock which killed all my lifestock....... haiz........... but i more into keeping exotic fishes which can't really be kept like moorish idols........having slight success here though will have to see how long they still can survive............been in there 3 mths already~~~
