my marine environment magnesium content is way above the recommended level too. hope it isnt harmful to the livestock :/

i bought a fire goby just less than a day ago and it has kinda disappeared from my tank. im aware that gobies tend to jump out of the tank when stressed but i see none in sight. Before that it was seen hiding under the liverock. could it be dead?

I just purchased a magnesium testkit by the brand of salifert recently. the magnesium level stated that the magnesium level in my water is too high (>1500ppm) Im still in the process of cycling the tank. Would too high magnesium levels pose a serious threat to the livestock in future? if so how do i lower it? the kH is 8 ard deg
