How to put sand?

Hi bros, I'm running a fowlr and is bare bottom. Just wondering if I change my mind and decides to add sand. Can I still do it?

The tank is about6 months old.

* Get a pvc pipe that reaches to the bottom of the tank

* Place a funnel on the other end of the PVC pipe

* Pour sand through funnel

* Sand bed without clouding your tank

However make sure you prep your sand properly.

wow I wish I learnt this method earlier. I had to catch all my fishes, snails and sea stars out before putting in the sand. so much work. but this is a good method shared, I must say.

Try to put live sand.

In case you feel your sand might not be the "cleanest".

You can staggered the amount of sand to fill your tank.

I did mine in 4 parts over 4 weeks.
