Hi all. Any reviews on the Reef Octopus 3000SSS Protein Skimmer?

sss super sump saver. a very gd skimmer which I had googled. was planning to buy the xp2000sss but must indent from distributor cos they only bring in those the pump beside the skimmer body. So I later didn't buy.

Return pump" 2x Reef Octo 5000

Skimmer:BK Double Cone 200 on Reef Octopus DC 5500s.

Wavemaker:2xVortech MP40wES

Chemical filtration:1xeducator FR(biopellets)

Chiller:1hp Daikin compressor.

Lighting:2 x Kessil A360we

Auto topup system: JBJ ATO + new jet 1200

Dosing system: Kamoer 3 channel.

Additives: ESV 2 part.

Power consumption

2XReef Octo 5000: 120watts

BK skimmer:50watts

2xVortech wavemaker:70watts

Daikin compressor:775watts

Lighting:180watts

Thanks for the review bro. Do you think it'll be sufficient for a 150g tank? (not taking into account of sump volume)

I remember the 2000 series I was looking at is already over rated for my 3x3x2 water vol. I remember my calculated tank plus sump is close to 600litres which is around 150gal I suppose. but the xpsss series u need indent from span aquarium.

Ya, also remember check yr cup clearance when u wan to take out. also I think the cup got no drain tube. u need check to confirm
