It seems that my tank is infested with a lot of tiny little white dots on the glass and the live rocks, my sump even has it. when I look closer, it is actually like a snail shell. It is about 2mm in diameter.

May I know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Thanks.

I googled about it. It is the feather duster.

More details can be found here.

After reading it, I am still thinking if I can remove it as it may look a bit weird to me.
