DIY 230W TEC chiller for 15" Nano cube Tank

Hi all,I want to start this project soon. I have 2 design so I dun know which design is better? My tank return pump is 1000/L, will be connect to the inlet of the chiller. Please help to comment.

My comments on your project:

- The cost of running a 230W peltier cooler is going to be double or more than a normal 250W chiller

- The cold side of the peltier gets colder when the hot side gets cooler, but I don't think the hot side can be cool efficiently enough for the cold side to cool your tank. I the peltier may end up running nearly non-stop.

- Even peltier chillers made by Resun, Teco, etc. are not popular because they are not efficient

Just my opinion.

Electricity cost is not a issue to me as the tank will be place in the work place.

To cool the hot side, I will be using water cooling with a heatexchanger which can mount 2 nos of 120mm fan on it. shld be able to cool down to ard 35 degee.
