Always look out for label that states aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Also look for reliable manufacturers that provides detailed inform on their bacteria products either on the labels or on their websites.

Microbacter 7 by Brightwell Aquatics. I use it myself. Its very reliable.

Tank and Equipments Used:-

Skimz ideas FR: Running ROWAPHOS (FEEDER PUMP: RESUN 1000)

Enductor FR: Running NP Biopellet (FEEDER PUMP: AQUABEE 1000)

Chaeto in sump

Bactiv8 or smthg from Julien Sprung used it previously and liked it...

UltraBio from FaunaMarin nice stuff too but not sure if they suitable without the use of zeolites

FM also has a new range of bacteria, marine bakto blend, never tried but since coming from FM should be good too

Bacteria that I used with good results. Not in any particular order:

  • Microbacter 7
  • Prodibio
  • Pries
  • Fauna Marin
  • Microbe-lift Special Blend
