Recommended Posts

Hi anyone can help me? I'm running bio pellets and ultraphos

1st qns does ultraphos need to tumble like bio pellets?

2nd qns. I run bio pellets 24hr but i think i'm getting to low nutrients until afew of my lps not surviving. So shd i take some pellets out and continue running 24hr or i just cut down the running time?

1) Ultraphos no need to tumble like biopellets. Replace your ultraphos if it turns yellow. Make sure the flow is 200-300l/hrs. Too high flow will reduce ur po4 v.fast

2)

Dont cut down the running time , u will risk hydrogen sulfide forming due to the breakdown of organics by anaerobic bacteriaa haha

U can either

- feed more (just feed , biiOpellet v.v.v.efficient in reducing nitrate.

-remove some pellets , wash with tap water and sun it under hot sun and store it.
