Big problem ! Tank leaking !

Not sure if you can enlarge the photo, if you can, you can see there is a live worm-like (with feelers or antenna) that actually came out of the black sponge where the water is coming out slowly ! Leak has been going on for a while or hole was large enough to let something like that slip through ?

Better have it plumbed fast... Leaks will get bigger and bigger very fast...

Guess i can only move the livestock down to the sump tank and drain as much as i can now.

Meantime, also am thinking :

i) get help to repair or redo same tank

ii) redo a new tank - also contemplating a new tank with IOS with skimmer (dont want sump anymore

)

Problem is not knowing where is the leak, all i can see now is water seeping out of the black sponge and one nasty creature wriggling around. Asking tank maker for assistance. Not sure how they can help but dont know of other options now. Sigh.......

They will empty the tank and re-silicone the edges.

Drained off half tank already. Hopefully tankmaker can come tomorrow.
