Cleaner shrimp larvae!!

Got back home late last night and I saw a bunch of pods swimming in my tank. Only to realise they are my cleaner shrimp larvae when I switch on my lights and attempted to take a video of them.

This hobby really never fails to amaze me. Always full of surprises

My question is, how do I go about raising them? Most of them got eaten by my cardinals as shown in the video. I managed to save a few and put them in a small glass container with an air pump.

On a side note, anyone has any exp in this? Can share your experience? Thanks!

my cleaner shrimps spawn very often. never tried raising any of them as i heard that they are very hard to breed. i just let my fish and corals have a good meal as they are high in nutrition

Hmm I see. Think it's gonna be a tedious process to try and raise them. Got a feeling the larvae might be dead when I reach home after work. Haha

5 months to raise cleaner shrimp, 50+ days for fire shrimp. Forget about holidays. :)

Always something more important than fish.

Wow bro fuel thanks! Damn.. didn't know it will be that tedious. Gonna reconsider whether to raise them. Thanks anyway!
