Unless it take longer than usual to chill then you might want to check for gas leakages or top up.

If not ,occasion cleaning of the compressor coil and fan is good enough I feel.

No need. They cooling coil itself is insulated when its inside the sump tank. Just make sure clean. Depending where you put your main compressor...need to clean or vacuum the dust on the cooling fins.
