hand itchy- transfer ls to 2nd tank

hello all, did a transfer of all ls to another tank.

all is well except my fav clown.saw him gasping, stare at my face, as though saying ' help help'....

this morning the fella died. wah! very sad.train him to eat from my hand liow.

question is , is it stress that cause his death?

I suppose you have already cycled the tank. Stress might have been a factor.

Did you remember to acclimatize properly as well?

bro kalib, the water parameter from both tank are almost equavalent.

maybe the acclimatiation part not well done.

i notice my clown was the KING in the old tank.

when transfered to the new tank, the fella seems lost territory.

No expert on clowns, so i can't really comment on the losing territory part, as in whether it is a factor in the fishe's death.

Any other observations? Like heavy breathing or lethargic prior to its death.

Looks like stress and not acclimatizing properly probably played a part in the fishe's death.

i juz tranfer my 2.5ft LS to 3ft.. so far all doing well.. only mushroom start to die n turn into sticky thing

I hate losing lifestock like that. I once transfered a small fish from one tank to another ..... only to watch it being gobbled up ..... Haiz....

hey! did u check ur water parameters correctly??? did u accidently put soap into ur tank?? better be careful k...

IMO, the fish wld be stress so quickly if u juz do a plain transfer from 1 place to another place within seconds...

unless...
