Coco Worm's body ejected from its tube

As above. Saw this morning that my Coco worm ejected from its tube and its body is now on my sandbed. Its most likely due to stress.

What should be done now? I noted that it is still alive but will it survive?

Hi,

You better check your tank NO3 level. I had the same experience b4 & all my tubeworm came out of the tube & start dying after that my tank stink like hell. Better throw away the worm b4 it contaminate your whole water system!!!

y not try get putting the worm back into the tube and hope for the best .... for the coco i mean ...
