SRC Member Chris Posted February 17, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted February 17, 2003 I have been using the JBL Ca test kit and found my calcium level always high, more than 500 ppm. However, I heard that if Ca is high, then kh would be depressed. However, my kh is always around 14-16. So, not I'm suspecting the error is from the test kit. Am thinking of getting Salifate or Red Sea kits. Are they better? Quote I think (marine) therefore I am
SRC Member TTBoy Posted February 17, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted February 17, 2003 I think most pple would recommend Salifert. I am using Salifert myself and so far have been giving reliable data. I dont know if Salifert is better because i have not used any other test kits.
lonteoh
Chris, I am using JBL Ca testkit too... There are some errors in the instructions booklet and the amendments are written on the first page. Did you noticed it?
