SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 25, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 25, 2020 Hi, don’t you think your tank is too small for a sohal tang?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hmm is quite okay...ideally nope.Tang police will come after me... But at this point of time... I can't get any thing from the tang.. can't sell but yet need to decom big tank... So put in firstDue to the tank size, I strongly don't think it will grow any bigger.. so far no fights or anything bcos all my lifestock has been with each other for almost 2 years plus Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk

SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 26, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 26, 2020 Was worried that the RBM will stn and die after it was pushed off the rock and landed on the sand bed... But it recovered really wellI buy a small 2 head torch coral after a long time after my old torch die off... Love the looks of the torch and will be looking forward to adding one or two more after CB ends...Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 28, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 28, 2020 Did water test yesterdayNo3 - 6ppmPo4 - 39ppb Mg -1200 Cal - 340P - 380Kh - 8.5dkhI just did a test yesterday and I notice that my mg and cal levels are low... Thus I manually dose in mg and cal. After dosing in cal and mg, I notice my kh drop from 8.5 to 7.8dkh..I believe it is to be a balancing of the ionic particles..So I will observe further and make changes if needed..Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 28, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 28, 2020 This alkatronic has been an important part of my tank setup...With it and apex.. it has help to control and ensure that the dkh is not out of swing... Right now I am trying to slowly reduce the swings... By fine-tuning the hours the co2 runs and I can safely say when the tank is stable... I roughly know how much dkh is consumed each day... So let's see how it goes from here...Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 29, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 29, 2020 It has been almost 5 days since I have clean my tank wall with the h2o2 and I haven got to clean the wall surface since then...It is really a good experiment which I will use in future for tank maintenanceSent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 29, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 29, 2020 So far running the nyos 160 after so long, it has been running great and I also run ozone with it...It has been skimming really dark skimmate out of it... Really smells but good for the system removal I am able to get almost 400 average orp on a daily basis... Which mostly translate into clear water... But just have to take note of the amount of ozone in the room and system cannot OD...Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 29, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 29, 2020 Running the clarisea has been a lifesaver to the tank and a space saver too...Able to ensure all the particles are removed without having to worry about changing out filter wool or filter socks (those r pain in the ass at times)..It has been running great and any problem I have had... RD has been a great support in many ways..Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk

SRC Member Daniel Poh Yang Zheng Posted April 29, 2020 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 29, 2020 Running my co2 solenoid via a Carbon Doser has been a easy plug and play and play around with setting and values system... Enabling me to fine-tune the amount of co2 going in and without any worries that over time I need to retune it...Many thanks to RMS for getting this for me not sure how they manage to get their hands on a limited few... But it was a hard week to go by... Haha had to try to ensure lesser fighting, manage to catch both the sailfin and sohal.. then let the maculiceps roam.. then sohal went back in.. it was world war 3... After a week... Things settled down...Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
