i juz chopped up a clove of garlic, put them in a saucer... then let a small block of frozen mysis thaw together with the garlic... after that remove the garlic bits and feed the mysis to the fish...

think it's not a good way to do this.. but it's only my first time... think a better way would be to rinse the mysis shrimp with water first so as not to overpollute the tank... perhaps the garlic should be squeezed instead of chopped too... not sure... haven the time to experiment..

mebe some of the more experienced guys here can share with us their ideas..

thnx

Bro, if you wan to keep it simple, why not juz buy it off the shelf? a good choice would be the Kent Marine Garlic, a little ex, but concentrated, so u only need a drop or two everyday.... :) I've been using my for almost 6 months liao, still kore than half left... :)

off the shelf... haha.. i see... din noe that... but still.... what's the co-relation between garlic and marine fish?

Well, actually, according to wat they all say, it enhances the appetite of the fishes, but I'm not too sure about that, I tink if the fish is stressed, it wouldn't eat even if you put garlic... :)

Vincent,

I saw on your spec that you are using a 250w MH. Are you using this for your FOLWR? Isn't it a waste?

Cheers,

Patrick
