SRC Member Domino Posted May 28, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted May 28, 2004 depends on your room temperature and your lighting. what is the water temp without the chiller? (if your setup is running already)
bwilly
if u not using MH, then I say its enuff. else its not. it should be good only for 200+L tank. that's abt 2-3ft tank. I am using a 1/2hp hailea. it take almost 4hours to cool 27c. then after that it kicks in every 4-5hours, its rated only for 380L tank. but with my sand n water (80-90%) + sump, should be oki. I tested with FL only, imagine my MH comes in. take longer.
