Evansi..

Recommended Posts

Currently I have a school of 8 evansi in my tank. They are with me for at least 5month. I feed them chopped frozen shrimps and live bbs.

They have a preference for small particulate food.

1 of them even take whole frozen mysis.

They are not skinny but then I wish they are as fat as my dispar.

IMO they are more picky than the 2 purple queen I have.

It will be best if you can feed them constantly

Woah mor*** finally you repled.... where you been?? Ok so the anthias pro have answered :lol::lol::lol:

Weileong, yur last Evansi, is he eating?

I dont think it'll stand a chance on his own, they like being together.

Mine still not eating while the rest of the anthias are eating like pigs now.

Adding wild zoo doesn't seems to help. Probably try the BBS soon.

Good thing is that it is out swimming with the rest of the anthias. bicolor, DA, tiger, etc.

My Evansi hides more then swiming in th open area. Have not see it eating

Worry !!!! :unsure::unsure:

My carberryi always in the open and eat like piggy

Happy !!! :D:D

I believe my Hawaii bicolor anthias is the bully in the tank.

angry !!! :angry::angry:

Just brought 2 male purple queen last saturday. Another fish that is hard to keep.

Still can see them eating but tends to hide due to the Hawaii bi-color anthias

I am now looking for Bartlett.

Anybody see this beautiful fish ?

:thanks:

I have two purple queens too, already one week, still trying to get it to feed.

I have tried frozen zooplankton, frozen cyclopeeze, prepared frozen food, etc,

but those picky fellows seem not interested leh. :angry:

Luckily, they are still swimming around and look healthy.

By the way, my PQs are quite big, abt 3 inches. How does it fair compared to the

smaller ones?

:rolleyes:
