i use it and the owner of aqua marine use it.

she says its tested and proven.

as for me...i only use the trace element...i'm not sure if its good...i just add in my tank and nothing's wrong

I think it is better to check your water parameter before you dose anything.

Otherwise, you will not only waste money but affects your water parameter too. Dosing Ca will cause your dKH to drop and may affect your pH too.

I have been using Sera but a lot of pple say it is not very good. Salifert is the best but is very ex.

I would suggest getting pH, dKH and Ca test kit since you want to dose Ca.

The ideal Ca is 420ppm. If you tank's is more than that, no need to dose. You can get very good coralline algae growth by keeping your dKH > 9 and Ca >= 420.

hardness is contributed by many ions but usually, to adjust we increase the carbonate amount.
