Water top-up with battery water?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried using battery water for top-up?

u know, those water they use to top-up car batteries (the old type). Supposed to be distilled or purified water. Anyone has idea whether these works well on marine reef tank as top-up?

I used to buy 1.5L bottle distilled water at $0.60~$0.70 from NTUC ..... in long term, really cannot tahan... if u buy at $1 + per 1 L ... think u need to spend at least $10 per water change for a 2'x1'x1' and $$80 for a 4'x2'x2' tank (20% change) how many rounds of water change can u afford?
